End-to-end identity, packaging design, and web design for Veritas Coffee Co.
Veritas Coffee Co. is onto something great with their science-based approach to brewing the perfect cup of coffee. The future-facing company required a brand that works as hard as Veritas does. It had to be clean, fresh and easily identifiable while retaining the flexibility to market a variety of products. It had to have the bearing of a coffee brand, while simultaneously feeling like an entirely new product altogether.
With inspiration gathered from coffee and beer packaging, music and vintage signage, the Veritas identity feels at once both old and new. The Veritas cold press coffee can makes ample use of the substrate with knock-outs on the logo itself as well as on subtle outlines and elements throughout the design. This adds a futuristic silver shimmer to the can. Each coffee variety is represented by a single color, which remains consistent throughout the brand. Veritas also launched with business cards, sell sheets, social media assets, video content, and even a custom van wrap.
The Veritas website greets visitors with a rich, full-screen video of the cold press process in action, from bean to bottle. The website was designed using a mobile-first perspective and includes subtle visual treats for visitors using their smartphones or tablets.
